Pratt & Whitney, a recognized leading producer of the world's most advanced commercial and military turbine engines, is seeking talented college students to join our organization in an internship capacity.
This internship position is within Pratt & Whitney’s Columbus Georgia - Columbus Engine Center team.

Key Responsibilities :
- The intern will be mentored by the Engine Center Supervisors and will engage in the duties listed below :
- Engine disassembly / assembly Assist in mechanic duties to disassemble and assemble engines, engine sections and accessories.
- Clean Assist in cleaning of engine parts and components.
- Assist with visual checks to assess minimal part condition for continued use where applicable. Understand the basic inspection techniques as a part of a career development path.
- Demonstrate commitment to safety and continuous improvement programs by complying with all policies and procedures, completing all required training, and supporting all applicable committee activities.
- Ability to manage tools and tooling to ensure serviceability before and after use and process appropriately when issues arise.
- FAA Safety Sensitive Position
Basic Qualifications :
- Enrolled in a degree program in an Airframe & Powerplant program at an FAA approved school.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems / tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Enrolled in an Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) program at a local college or university.
- Aviation Maintenance Technology / Airframe & Powerplant training.

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
