Job description
etch restaurants, by Chef Deb Paquette, are hiring Full-Time Pastry Cooks to join our family of restaurants. Opportunities are available at our Downtown and Franklin (opening soon!) locations.
You must have at least two years recent pastry cook or bakery experience and have the ability to perform complex recipes in a fast paced environment.
Weekday and weekend availability between the hours of 6am-4pm is a must. If this sounds like you, please continue reading :
What we are looking for
We’re looking for someone who can bring a positive attitude to the back of house team and ensure our pastry operations run smoothly, food safety and sanitation standards are being upheld, and workspaces are kept clean and organized.
The ideal candidate will also possess the following skills :
- Prepare pastry / bread items according to recipes with accuracy and consistency
- Previous bakery / pastry cook experience in a fast paced kitchen environment
- Comfortable standing for long periods of time
- Attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and follow direction
- etch Franklin : availability between 6am-4pm Tuesday-Sunday
- etch Downtown : availability between 6am-4pm Monday-Saturday
