POSITION DESCRIPTION
In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, this is a part-time professional position that is responsible for the management of staff and activities related to the Personal Advocate Linking Services (PALS) program.
PALS conducts community outreach workshops and provides one on one support to SWIC students, faculty, staff and the District 522 community related to FAFSA completion, financial literacy and other college and community resources to promote student success.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor’s degree in appropriate discipline is required.
2. A minimum of three years of professional experience is required. Prior experience in an educational or training institution is preferred.
3. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary.
4. Supervisory experience preferred.
5. Knowledge of word processing, database, and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Office) preferred.
SALARY
$24.50 per hour, up to 30 hours per week.
