Our client is looking to hire an Aircraft Rotor Blade Technician Trainee in Broussard, LA for a long- term employment opportunity with one of Aviation's largest manufacturing companies.
Responsibilities :
- Perform repairs on aircraft components in accordance with FAA and OEM requirements
- Rotor blade repair activities include sanding, cleaning, and blade specific maintenance
- Shipping and Receiving responsibilities of blades and components
- Employee's will complete training in Blade Repair and Shipping and Receiving
Education :
High school diploma or or Technical Certification / Diploma
Qualifications :
- Previous experience as a blade tech, or experience working in field such as automotive or aircraft repair
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and written
- Knowledge of working on computers for documentation of work
- Attention to detail and follow directions, both written and verbal
- Maintain good eye-hand coordination
- Work well in a team oriented environment
- Prior blade repair experience and knowledge of all facets of blade repair preferred
- Prior aircraft or automotive experience may be a plus
Pay Rate : $20.00 - 25.00 / hr (BASED ON EXPERIENCE)
