Multi-statedesign firm is seeking a Transportation Engineer (Roadway) for their team in Colorado Springs, Colorado!
Responsibilities :
- Lead transportation project evaluation design andconstruction
- Work with project team to refine project scope / schedules
- Prepare project documentation (specifications, manuals,permits)
- Ensure projects are compliant with high-quality standards
- Review shop drawings, assess alternative designs, and communicatechanges to clients and contractors
- Build / maintain client relationships
- Mentor / train junior staff
- Continue learning for professional growth
- Assist with business development
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 5+ years of engineering experience
- PE License
- Proficient in Open Roads Designer software
- Strong knowledge of standard engineering techniques,procedures, and codes
- Project management experience
