We are hiring a Lead Cook. The lead cook, or head cook, is the kitchen manager who oversees restaurant operations and other cooks.
They work closely with restaurant managers, front-of-house staff, and other cooks to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly and food is prepared consistently.

Responsibilities :
- Coordinate food preparation, ensure ingredients and final products are fresh, and follow recipes
- Create menu dishes, experiment with recipes, and suggest new menu items
- Order food supplies and equipment, and manage inventory
- Coordinate kitchen staff schedules, delegate cleaning and preparation tasks, train and evaluate junior chefs and kitchen staff
- Ensure adherence to food safety and cleanliness standards, and approve and "polish" dishes before they reach the customer
- Collaborate with management for food cost management and budgeting, address customer concerns, and review food and beverage purchases
Qualifications :
- Extensive culinary experience
- Lead or supervisory experience
