Overhead Door Company of Kansas City , a DH Pace Company, aspires to hire a Residential Department Manager in our Olathe office.

We are a customer-focused sales and service organization. Will manage & develop skilled field technicians and office personnel with a common goal of providing top-level service with a focus on minimizing labor costs and maximizing profit.

Job Responsibilities :

• Effectively manage employee performance, control labor and material costs, and ensure service levels meet customer expectations.
• Assist with employee / job scheduling and provide assistance with technical / mechanical troubleshooting / problem solving.
• Monitor technicians' schedules to ensure timely completion of jobs and accurate customer invoicing.
• Perform employee performance reviews, document performance issues, and provide necessary employee counseling with targeted improvement action plans.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Job Requirements :

• Management experience in a fast-paced service-focused organization.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, along with good mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
• Ability for technical applications and mechanical systems.
• Proficient with Windows-based programs and ERP / CRM systems.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
