Receptionist / Massage Therapist

Receptionist Essential Job Duties :

• Welcomes with greeting, patients and visitors; answers or refers inquires; maintains the reception area.
• Optimizes patients’ satisfaction, provider time and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
• Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient’s arrival; informing provider and patients of delays.
• Comforts patients by anticipating patients’ anxieties; answering patients’ questions.
• Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording and updating personal and billing information; collects and records patient payments.
• Maintains office supplies and equipment by anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt of ordered supplies.
• Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
• Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.

Receptionist Secondary Job Duties That May be Reassigned :

• Gets and distributes incoming, outgoing and inter office mail.
• Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
• Helps patients in distress by responding to emergencies.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Industrial Health Massage Therapist Job Duties That May be Reassigned :

• Performs professional quality massage, within scope of practice and licensing (as applicable).
• Designs specific sessions based on clients individual needs.
• Assists in the promotion of the health and wellness benefits to clients receiving massage therapy
• Maintain treatment records, monitor client progress, and follow up on their treatment plans
• Maintaining client schedule and ensuring availability for client base.
• Follows all practice policies and protocols
• Adherence to all applicable local and state licensing laws and regulations related to the massage therapy services provided, including following any applicable law pertaining to maintaining current Massage License
• Assists in the cleanliness of the location
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Industrial Health Massage Therapist Secondary Job Duties That May be Reassigned :

• Collecting payment in accordance with the corporate contract in effect for the location.
• Order supplies as needed

Receptionist Job Specifications :

• Education : High School graduate
• Experience : Knowledge of software applications and administrative and clerical procedures. Proficient in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language skills

Message Therapist Job Specifications :

Education Successful completion of a massage therapy program with a minimum of 625 hours of study. Must hold a Massage Therapy License for the state of Indiana.

Experience Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist.
