- Welcomes with greeting, patients and visitors; answers or refers inquires; maintains the reception area.
- Optimizes patients’ satisfaction, provider time and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
- Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient’s arrival; informing provider and patients of delays.
- Comforts patients by anticipating patients’ anxieties; answering patients’ questions.
- Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording and updating personal and billing information; collects and records patient payments.
- Maintains office supplies and equipment by anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt of ordered supplies.
- Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
Receptionist Secondary Job Duties That May be Reassigned :
- Gets and distributes incoming, outgoing and inter office mail.
- Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
- Helps patients in distress by responding to emergencies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Industrial Health Massage Therapist Job Duties That May be Reassigned :
- Performs professional quality massage, within scope of practice and licensing (as applicable).
- Designs specific sessions based on clients individual needs.
- Assists in the promotion of the health and wellness benefits to clients receiving massage therapy
- Maintain treatment records, monitor client progress, and follow up on their treatment plans
- Maintaining client schedule and ensuring availability for client base.
- Follows all practice policies and protocols
- Adherence to all applicable local and state licensing laws and regulations related to the massage therapy services provided, including following any applicable law pertaining to maintaining current Massage License
- Assists in the cleanliness of the location
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Industrial Health Massage Therapist Secondary Job Duties That May be Reassigned :
- Collecting payment in accordance with the corporate contract in effect for the location.
- Order supplies as needed
Receptionist Job Specifications :
- Education : High School graduate
- Experience : Knowledge of software applications and administrative and clerical procedures. Proficient in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language skills
Message Therapist Job Specifications :
Education Successful completion of a massage therapy program with a minimum of 625 hours of study. Must hold a Massage Therapy License for the state of Indiana.
Experience Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist.
