- Common diagnoses / Types of patients Orthopedic Patients : Hips, Knees, Shoulders, Spine, fractures General Medical / Surgical pneumonia, heart failure, sepsis, chest pain, Gi Bleed, diabetes, electrolyte imbalances, kidney failure, UTI
- Experience or 'Must have' skills Med / Surg. Ortho preferred
- Are RNs required to titrate drips? yes
- Common titratable & / or set rate drips Heparin, Cardizem
- Charge Nurse / House Supervisor Yes / Yes
- RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc) Cpap / Bipap
- Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips? Yes.
