JOB TITLE : Demand Supply Planner

REPORTS TO : Chief Supply Chain Officer

SUMMARY :

A Demand Supply Planner at Jordan's Skinny Mixes analyzes demand signals to ensure the Demand Plan inputs link into the supply plan with an overall goal of confirming inventory levels are correct.

In this role, you will manage, influence, and improve our On-Time In-Full (OTIF) orders while ensuring inventory levels are optimized.

You will be a key driver in ensuring finished goods are available by confirming inventory levels are available to fulfill customer demand.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES :

• Communicate, develop, and drive key relationships with mass retail and / or grocery sales team through virtual or onsite meetings, phone, and email.
• Perform analysis of latest consensus demand plan for all active SKUs.
• Monitor and track inventory levels, service levels, vendor performance, surplus & retired inventory, and other relevant KPIs to identify variance from goals.

Use available resources to analyze root causes and recommend solutions to improve KPI results.

• Review daily order management and conduct analysis of retail and e-commerce buying. Manage customer orders to optimize on-time and product fill rate, support purchase order KPIs, and ensure cross collaborative partners have visibility to relevant information.
• Ability to both analyze in and communicate with Excel
• Escalate demand swings to proactively mitigate supply shortages to minimize disruptions to supply continuity.
• Report on product fill rate, customer delivery appointment and want date adherence, lead-time and cycle time variability, and inventory levels.
• Recommend strategies to improve product fill rate, order frequency, lead-time, inventory levels, and cost to serve.
• Develop short- and long-term end to end supply chain plans for items produced.
• Collaborate with internal resources to define expectations, align processes, develop goal transparency and alignment, and gain product and supply chain insights to ensure effective business plans are established to support customer.
• Manage & communicate tactical details in critical & challenging situations quickly and efficiently.
• Effectively communicate internally and externally to support issue resolution and drive awareness against business performance metrics.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :

• 5+ years in a similar role at a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) company.
• Proven background working in mass retail and grocery at Kroger, Target, and / or Walmart.
• Demonstrated experience with the distribution processes, constraints, and setting supply parameters to drive product availability.
• Demonstrated experience conducting analysis on chargebacks, OTIF, and retail buying trends (both in-store and online) with Customer Service Operations Team.
• A history of making data driven decisions and performing root cause analysis.
• Proficiency using an ERP solution to track inventory and shipments; NetSuite preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen ability to clearly convey information to consumers and colleagues.
• A history of leading by example, taking initiative to create or enhance processes, and building strong foundations with your coworkers.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or equivalent.

• Prior background working with Private Equity or Venture Capital investor-backed companies.

STATUS : Full-time, exempt

LOCATION : Our ideal candidate is located in Clearwater, Florida and can work on a hybrid schedule. This position is also available to remote employees;

however, we are not accepting candidates in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington at this time.
