Bartender Job Description
A Taste of Belgium Bartender is responsible for ensuring that all guests receive prompt, friendly, personalized service, and a truly unforgettable experience.
This is a tipped position.
The Ideal Candidate will excel in the following areas
Hospitality
- Outgoing, sparkly and friendly
- Attentive; ensuring that our guests receive prompt, friendly and personalized service

- Love working in a team environment to achieve goals and provide top notch service
- Has a passion for great food and beverages
- Preparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and guests
- Assessing bar guests with their needs and preferences and making recommendations
Teamwork
- Work as a TEAM - assist in the service of ALL guests
- Perform duties and side work to ensure the bistro opens on time
- Perform all closing functions including side work and cleaning
- Restock and maintain supplies throughout shift
Attention to detail
- Ensure all orders are correct by ringing them in accurately
- Proper and accurate cash handling and credit card processing
- Knowledge of all menu offerings and prices
- Adhere to all local and State liquor service laws
- Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Basic understanding of craft beer with a willingness to learn more
Environmental Requirements
- PM and weekend availability
- Ability to stand for long periods of time with periods of moving quickly, bending, lifting and twisting
- Ability to lift & carry up to 50 lbs.
