Job Description :

  • Responsible for the successful delivery of smaller strategic or larger tactical projects which are generally of moderate complexity.
  • Utilizes and provides project management expertise to direct, with personal involvement, work assignments involving the work teams.
  • Establishes priorities and gathers the resources necessary to staff any team leaders as well as the work teams.
  • Directs, with personal involvement, the design of major components involved in the project.
  • Directs, with personal involvement, the technology to be deployed on project; sometimes introducing new technology. Integrates and coordinates with user groups, business management, or I.T. management.
  • Projects meet some or all the following criteria : 6 to 12 persons on the project team; 3 to 6 disciplines involved; multiple facilities within Division are involved;

determined on budget, revenues generated, savings, etc.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage the production of project and workstream plans, ensuring that all activities are identified, are appropriately organized and resourced to deliver project objectives, and comply with the organization's project and program management framework.
  • Plan and lead the delivery of a range of information gathering, analysis, and stakeholder consultation activities and specify, negotiate, and agree on project deliverables.
  • Plan and deliver stakeholder engagement activities to develop effective working relationships for projects and to ensure that stakeholder needs and concerns are identified and met.
  • Plan and coordinate the identification and elicitation of requirements; conduct analysis of those requirements for completion and alignment;

document and manage requirements throughout the life of the project; and coordinate the verification of the end deliverable.

Identify and evaluate risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with the project, escalating matters where appropriate.

Where necessary, develop, agree on, and implement solutions to overcome these concerns.

  • Draft project review reports and presentations, including key information, commentary, and recommendations, to support the review process and enable stakeholders to evaluate progress and agree on change.
  • Lead a small- to medium-sized project team; communicate the project vision and the necessary outcomes, along with guidance to achieve these outcomes;
  • coordinate team actions on project activities; coordinate the flow of additional team members on and off the team, as needed;

and identify areas of improvement to build the capability of the team through training, coaching, and mentoring.

  • Review existing operations in own area of work and implement innovation processes to generate new ideas and ensure continuous improvements are delivered.
  • Manage the deployment of project resources, proactively managing project costs, providing forecasts, and presenting variances with narrative at appropriate review points to ensure effective utilization.
  • Develop short- or medium-term work schedules to achieve planned commitments. Approve overtime or use additional resources as needed.
  • Organize and prepare complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices, such as standard office software.

Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for special reports. Provide appropriate documentation and training to enable successful transition to business as usual.

Identify and record lessons learned to inform future project activity.

  • Conduct assurance reviews within the project, facilitate the delivery of assurance reviews by independent third parties, and take appropriate action to resolve any issues identified, so that senior stakeholders have confidence that the project can deliver according to time, budget, and quality.
  • Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching;

gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfil personal potential.

Maintain an in-depth understanding of technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.

Experience :

  • The project manager should have a strong background in project management methodologies, tools, and practices to effectively plan, execute, and monitor the project from initiation to completion.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential for conveying project goals, requirements, and updates clearly to team members, stakeholders, and vendors involved in the project.
  • Negotiation and risk management.
  • Project planning.
  • 5 years in IT project management.

Desired Skills :

  • Infrastructure and Operations : General knowledge and experience of IT Infrastructure as well as good understanding of ITIL, problem management, customer communication, root cause analysis and other operations related disciplines to ensure proper operation management.
  • VOICE & Contact Center platform / infrastructure : Knowledge and experience of call management platform and infrastructure such as CISCO and AVAYA and Contact / Call Center systems and platforms.

Education :

Bachelor's or equivalent experience.
