Jacobs Senior CAD Designer (Civil) - REMOTE

As a Senior CAD Designer, you will perform design / drafting assignments, requiring advanced working knowledge of design standards, practices and techniques using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and AutoCAD Map 3D while working collaboratively in a global team environment.
Here is what you will need :
- Associate’s degree or equivalent technical certification
- At least 10 years’ experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and / or AutoCAD Map 3D
- Advanced experience with ProjectWise. Navisworks (BIM 360 and SharePoint) a plus.
- Knowledge and experience with civil design projects including using data from topographic surveys, DTMs, and performing grading, and utility layouts.
- Proficiency with general office software (Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams).
- Ability to work independently and with various disciplines to manage multiple tasks and projects, as well as anticipate, identify, and resolve problems in a timely and positive manner.
Ideally, you will also have :
- Knowledge of the energy industry.
- Understanding of project workflows from concept, detailed design, estimation, bidding, and construction documentation, administration, and support.
- Autodesk Certified Professional.
Responsibilities will include :
- Setup projects in CAD, coordinate data sources and manage user access.
- Provide CAD leadership and production support for project teams, including Project Execution Plan documentation, project kick-off meetings, file exports and client deliverable coordination.
