Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
School Psychologist
Location : Vandalia, OH
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
- Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations to support individualized education programs (IEPs) and interventions.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to develop and implement strategies to address students' academic and behavioral challenges.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop intervention plans.
Requirements :
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid Ohio certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and interpreting assessment data.
- Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
