Job Overview
This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain management, logistics, and procurement.
The ideal candidate will support various supply chain functions, including category management, supplier relations, and process optimization.
This internship will be project focused through a combination of team and individual assignments.
Major Responsibilities
Interns apply general Supply Chain principles, theories, and concepts to assignments such as, but not limited to :
- Conduct market intelligence and data analysis to assist in strategic sourcing
- Build, issue, and evaluate Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
- Contract negotiation and management
- Supplier relationship management (internal and external)
- Interface with operations teams to assist in providing highest value materials and services
