Overview : For our client, we are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth, providing the benefits of a small firm environment while offering exposure to significant projects.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably within a consulting engineering setting.

This position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of construction processes and legal regulations.

Compensation : Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $110,000 to $160,000, commensurate with your experience, education, certifications, and skill set.

This reflects a strong commitment to attracting top-tier talent for this pivotal role. Key Responsibilities : Lead and manage design teams of 5-10 members, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Efficiently allocate and manage company resources to maximize project efficiency. Oversee the development of structural designs, ensuring accuracy, safety, and adherence to client specifications.

Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Conduct site visits to inspect construction progress, assess structural integrity, and ensure compliance with design plans.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design team members. Utilize problem-solving and analytical skills to address challenges and improve design processes.

Ensure all designs meet applicable codes, standards, and regulations. Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, calculations, and specifications.

Qualifications : Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably within consulting engineering. Proven experience in managing design teams and leading projects to successful completion.

Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Creative and detail-oriented, with the ability to develop innovative design solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.

Physically capable of visiting construction sites and clients’ facilities.
