Manager, Artist Strategy & Operations
The Role : The Manager, Artist Strategy & Operations will drive the growth and performance of the artist community who participates on the Minted platform, the supply-side’ of our ever-growing creative goods marketplace.
This role is ideal for a data-driven and strategic thinker who also has a passion for design, art, or mission-driven businesses.
You will be a member of our Artist Relations team, which supports, engages, develops, and retains Minted’s talented community of independent artists, at the heart of our mission.
You will help us build and use data-driven processes that help us scale to serve a community of thousands of artists and designers from around the world.
This role will collaborate cross-functionality with our Analytics, Product Management, Merchandising, Brand, Finance, and Marketing teams.

You will :
- Lead artist-focused strategic projects, such as maximizing Minted’s economic value proposition for artists and developing retention strategies for key talent
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on our artist community and the competitive landscape for artists and designers
- Create, monitor, and analyze reporting to understand the health and performance of the artist community. Share key insights and recommendations with leadership
- Develop programs and strategies for specific segments of artists, including top-selling artists and artists who are new to the community
- Support artist compensation policy and systems, ensuring we have a fair, transparent, and motivating incentive structure
- Manage & improve business processes that support our goals
- Partner with our Product Management / Engineering teams and external vendors to manage and scale artist systems and tools
- Roll up your sleeves on tactical execution needed to support our business priorities and the artist community
You are :
- Very strong quantitative and analytical thinker
- An extremely organized person who enjoys process and process design
- Adept at communicating data and quantitative insights to a variety of audiences, including people who are less data-oriented than you are
- Mission-oriented person who enjoys helping others and who remains positive when faced with problems.
- Passionate about art, design, or mission-driven businesses
You have :
- 4-6 years of work experience. Management consulting, project management, or data analysis experience preferred
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and / or Google Sheets
- Experience with SQL and analytics software is a plus. Aptitude for tools and process design and automation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Compensation : The compensation range for the role applies to both employment offers and Minted employees actively working in the role.
Our employment offers fall between the minimum and midpoint of the range to allow for continued salary growth during your employment at Minted.
The upper half of the range accommodates this growth and supports our intention to create an environment that encourages lasting relationships between Minted and our employees.
