The Applications, Development, and Integrations Team is focused on building and enhancing enterprise solutions to support critical business processes for the University of Florida.

The Applications, Development, and Integrations Team is looking for a skilled team member who enjoys using their creative talents to produce business solutions that address the needs of our customers.

You will participate in projects to solve business problems and create efficiency. You will work in a collaborative team environment, participate in the full software development lifecycle, and produce quality enterprise solutions.

You will be required to meet with customers, analyze requirements, propose solutions, create design specifications and prototypes, develop and test new code, and document solutions.

You will perform enhancements and help maintain existing applications. You must have excellent communication skills, keep current with the latest trends in application development, and have a history of producing quality work.

Qualified candidates will have working experience with one or more programming languages, SQL (Structured query language), and database design.

Some key responsibilities and characteristics of this position are : Meet with analysts to gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements.

Devise and propose solutions for new projects and enhancements to ERP systems.Develop and test new code that maintains the integrity of the ERP systems.

769 hours biweekly / 22 days annually and sick leave at 4 hours biweekly / 13 days annually. In addition, employees are eligible for ten paid holidays each year.

Vacation-accruing TEAMS employees are eligible for four personal leave days / 32 hours per year, assuming full-time status, and are intended to give the flexibility to enable units to close from December 26 to 31, when possible, determined on a unit-by-unit basis.

Expected Salary : $50,000 $60,000; commensurate based on education and experience.Minimum Requirements : Associates degree;

or a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational / technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Preferred Qualifications : The ideal candidate will possess the following education, experience, and skills : SQL and relational database systems (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, etc.

Object-oriented programming languages (C#, Java, PeopleCode, etc.) for at least one yearSource Control (Git, SVN, etc.)Issue management or project managementAbility to search online resources for answers and learn quickly.
