Industrial Engineer

Acara Solutions is hiring an Industrial Engineer for our client in Tolleson, AZ. This is a full-time position with great benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K match, and vacation / holiday / sick , DOE.

• Responsible for diagnosis and sorting of manufacturing process, improving suggestion output, process rectification supervision, coordinating management and operation of manufacturing and operation data framework;
• regular collection and analysis of manufacturing, operation output, efficiency, manpower cost, quality and other data; monitoring manufacturing, operating personnel, materials, equipment, operation methods, and control overflow;
• responsible for lean project management, assisting workshop capacity improvement, problem improvement and efficiency improvement;

providing IE professional support and personnel basic knowledge training, improving site management ability; leading data analysis, abnormal discovery, risk identification and operation management suggestions.

• Major responsibilities-Lean management promotion : For decision makers and managers at all levels to make decisions and management direction assistant, and provide decision-making ideas and direction suggestions, and at the same time with the interface, communicators and coordinator between departments, enterprises and external environment;
• IE management : 2.1 Responsible for the diagnosis of continuous manufacturing process, making professional analysis and improvement suggestions from the perspective of 5M1E and continuous follow-up, so as to realize the improvement of line production capacity and OEE;
• 2.2 Responsible for the establishment and continuous optimization of the standard operation database, establish the standard system and process of rapid switching, operation analysis and operation measurement, and regularly update the standard capacity and standard database according to the production line / product changes;
• 2.3 Responsible for the continuous development of competitiveness management, formulate the benchmarking system of key parameters of competitiveness management, regularly organize data benchmarking between bases and within the industry, and regularly output benchmarking projects, and organize internal review and import;
• 2.4 Responsible for participating in the introduction of factory renovation and expansion projects, automation, informatization and other projects in the base, and giving professional improvement opinions from the perspective of IE;
• 2.5 Responsible for the establishment and optimization of main data indicators such as base basic capacity, equipment comprehensive efficiency (OEE), operation (growth) data framework, regularly monitor and analyze standard capacity, manpower preparation, growth rate and other indicators and put forward optimization plans;
• Lean management promotion : 3.1 Responsible for establishing institutionalized training system, forming professional lean standard course database, providing IE professional support and personnel basic knowledge training according to manufacturing needs, shaping employees to form basic improvement thinking and enhance on-site management ability;
• 3.2 Responsible for organizing regular lean improvement activities, creating a lean improvement atmosphere of the company, and stimulating employees' enthusiasm for improving work;
• 3.3 Responsible for promoting the establishment of lean site management system, forming standardized requirements and documents for site management, and improving the level of on-site lean management;
• 3.4 Responsible for the establishment of efficiency evaluation dimensions and system of the manufacturing plant, and regularly evaluate and manage the production capacity and OEE of the manufacturing branch;
• Data platform construction : Responsible for reviewing the information requirements in the base, standardizing the parameters of the information system and the noun definition, and cooperating with development engineers for data modeling and analysis;

Required Skills / Qualifications : Minimum 2 years of relevant experiencePreferred Skills / Qualifications : 1 Educational background : Bachelor's degree or above.
