What you'll do :
The Vendor Risk Professional (VRP) within the Payment Enablement will lead Vendor payment profile creation and be responsible for the integrity of the Master Vendor Record with Oracle ERP.
The VRP will also be responsible for documented SOX policy and procedures and will lead a small team of analysts.
What we are looking for :
- Create Add Modify new or existing Vendor payment profiles in the Master Vendor Record using Oracle General Ledger
- Create Add Modify employee expense reimbursement accounts via ACH
- Identify appropriate GL account, department and location cost-coding
- Work with GL support team to resolve coding variances
- Tracks Vendor termination or retention
- Maintains vendor W9 records to allow for proper 1099 issuance at year end
- Handles vendor communication
- Gather and process support for credit card or other off-invoice payable transactions
- Work closely with the third-party vendor risk assessors across the team
- Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with regulatory compliance risk assessments and related infrastructure enhancements
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Operations, Business, Finance, Economics, or Statistics.
- 7+ years’ direct experience in Vendor Management
- Must have hands-on working experience with Oracle General Ledger and ERP
- Working knowledge of Prologue, Concur Expense or Intacct systems a PLUS
- Working knowledge of GAAP, general ledger and purchasing process.
- Knowledge of all applicable state and local tax laws, 1099 regulations including independent contractors, accounts payable related terms / processes.
- Subject Matter Expert in Accounts Payable or Procure-To-Pay operations.
- Significant experience related to FFIEC auditing regulations, or similar financial industry requirements strongly desired.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word & Excel)
- Proven track record of establishing a proactive, constructive dialogue and partnering with professionals internally and externally.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal staff and external customers
- Ability to work multiple concurrent projects independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary internal and external customer service
- Comfortable using financial / quantitative data
- Strong attention to detail, adaptable and flexible.
- Fosters teamwork through positive attitude and approach.
