We offer a competitive benefits package to our full time employees. Duties and Responsibilities : Assures all physicians’ requests for services are rendered in a timely and professional manner.
Performs a variety of technical and patient care procedures that require independent judgement utilizing a multi slice scanner.
Utilizes power injectors and monitoring equipment. Starts IV’s and administers IV, oral, or rectal contrast at the direction of the physician on site.
Participates and is engaged in a team framework and maintains a positive approach and attitude Obtains pertinent diagnostic information needed for appropriate diagnostic examination and protocols.
Identifies each patient, reviews each patient’s and previous radiographs for consistency (examination ordered / clinical diagnosis), and records pertinent data on CT requisition at all times.
Reviews each examination for technical accuracy, presents completed examination to radiologist, and communicates pertinent data to persons responsible for the care of the patient following the procedure.
Performs proper computer skills and shows working knowledge of patient orders, status changes, patient charges and profiles.
Assists in quality assurance monitoring. Assists in ensuring efficient operation of the department Assures all rooms are stocked and necessary supplies Assesses patient condition, ensures patient safety through proper use of restraints and / or support devices.
Makes sure that all necessary information is recorded properly. Answers all telephone calls Maintains annual compliance education.
Maintains confidentiality of all clinic-related information. Regular and reliable attendance. Presents to work on time as scheduled.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor and physicians. Assist other staff in performing radiologic examinations.
Qualifications : Satisfactory completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology training program and CT registered (ARRT) Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a CT Technologist using a 64 slice GE scanner.
Advanced registry in CT required Demonstrating the ability to accurately provide diagnostic images and related functions, i.
e. : starting IV’s, maintenance of IV lines, injector protocols, etc. Understanding of CT and CTA cross sectional anatomy, multi planar anatomy and procedures are a must, will be responsible for daily procedures as per the Radiologist protocol.
Demonstrates knowledge of daily equipment calibration and Quality Assurance program per ACR standards. Demonstrates knowledge of and application of radiation safety.
Knowledge of PACS and related computer applications. BLS certified. R.T. and Mammography Certification Preferred. Company Contact Information : Web : www.
