Responsibiliti
- es : Perform lump sum takeoff of material, labor, and vendor costs using design drawings and specificatio
- ns.Communicate with General Contractors to clarify project requirements and timelin
- es.Request and manage vendor quotes for materials and servic
- es.Review project specifications to ensure full scope coverage in estimat
- es.Provide the estimating manager with detailed Scope of Work, inclusions / exclusions, and qualifications for proposal submissi
- on.Track bid progress and follow up with contractors on bid awar
Requireme
- nts : High School diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree prefer
- red.Minimum of 5 years experience in the steel fabrication indus
- try.Ability to read and interpret structural / architectural drawi
- ngs.Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with Blue Beam and On-Screen Take
- off.Knowledge of AISC practices, construction standards, and procedures from award to close
out.
