Our programs support multiple Federal agencies, including the Department of Defense. We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to support our customers operations in San Diego, CA.

This effort provides our Government customer with multiple types of engineering services in support of data technology development.

This position will be on-site and will require an active Top Secret / SCI Clearance.

Responsibilities :

• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis
• Update or enhance existing software capabilities
• Work with other functional disciplines (e.g., project management, acquisition, logistics, security, etc.) to integrate hardware and software systems, develop specifications, and performance requirements.
• Maintain databases within an application area

Qualifications :

Essential Requirements :

• US Citizenship.
• Active TS / SCI.

Required Experience :

3 years of professional experience with software engineering

Desired Experience :

• Experience with applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting.
• Experience with applying modern software development methodologies (e.g. agile, DEVOPS / DEVSECOPS) in a professional or academic setting.

Education and Certifications :

• Bachelors degree in a quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems)
• Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification

Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
