Co-op for RF IC and Module Design
Position Summary
Join our RF design team to evaluate and characterize cutting-edge RF / microwave circuit designs for 2-8 GHz front-end ICs and modules used in cutting-edge wireless communication systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct various design simulations (circuit, EM, and thermal) to support RF circuit development.
- Participate in lab measurements for characterization, debugging, and performance optimization of RF modules and ICs.
- Analyze test data and simulation results.
- Generate comprehensive test and simulation reports for the design team.
- Present technical findings to the team.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related fields.
- Coursework in microwave engineering and electronic circuit design is essential. Additional knowledge in integrated circuit design and semiconductor physics is preferred.
- Strong teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Microwave Circuit Design Expertise for amplifiers, filters, transmission lines, and matching circuits.
- Simulations skills with computer-aided design tools such as Keysight Advanced Design System (ADS), Cadence, and Ansys HFSS.
- Measurement instrument proficiency with DC and RF active and passive circuit measurement equipment (e.g., digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, power meters, and spectrum analyzers).
- Communication with clarify complex engineering problems in a concise verbal or written report.
