The RoleWe are looking for a Principal Architect to join our Product Team. You will be responsible for defining and driving the technical vision, strategy, and architecture for our products as they relate to the various segments and customers.

You will work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that meet the needs of our customers and partners.

The Main ResponsibilitiesDefine and communicate the technical vision, strategy, and architecture for the Wholesale product portfolio.

Analyze potential opportunities and emerging technologies to formulate the set of scope from a business perspective that a product project needs.

Evaluate technology and innovation opportunities for the Wholesale segment.Collaborate with product managers to articulate Wholesale customer needs and feedback on the Lumen product portfolio.

Ensure alignment and integration of the Wholesale product architecture with the enterprise architecture and other product domains.

Evaluate and recommend new and emerging technologies, tools, and platforms that can enhance the Wholesale product capabilities and performance.

Continuously evaluate the market trends and needs to propose solutions best suited for Wholesale customers.Provide customer feedback to other architects and product managers in the team and across the organization.

Drive innovation and continuous improvement in the Wholesale product domain.What We Look For in a CandidateBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

10+ years of experience in Network Engineering, architecture, and design.Experience as a Product Architect, Enterprise Architect or Solutions Architect that has solutioned DIA, Ethernet, Waves, IPVPN and dark fiber solutions.

5+ years of experience in leading and managing complex and large-scale Network projects and teams.Proven experience in successful Product Launches with Network Products, SASE, resale of value-added services.

Expertise in cloud technologies, microservices, APIs, and DevOps.Experience in designing and developing solutions for the Wholesale segment of the technology and telecommunications industry.

Experience in evaluating emerging technology and understanding how it applies to Wholesale customers.Strong knowledge of the Wholesale business processes, products, and services.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.CompensationThe starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location.

Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges$128,310 - $171,080 in these states : AR ID KY LA ME MS NE SC SD$135,060 - $180,080 in these states : AL AZ FL GA IA IN KS MO MT ND NM OH OK PA TN UT VT WI WV WY$141,820 - $189,090 in these states : CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI$148,570 - $198,090 in these states : AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WAAs with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.

Salary RangeSalary Min : 128310Salary Max : 198090This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.

Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
