Essential Responsibilities :
Large Shipping job duties include but are not limited to the following :
- Unload merchandise from trucks and move merchandise to designated areas for inspection and stocking
- Load or package boxes and crates for shipping while ensuring accuracy of contents
- Scan items against order slips to ensure full order is filled with correct merchandise
- Assist with packing materials distribution and disposal of empty boxes
- Stock items in assigned locations within the warehouse and take part in the inventory count process
- Accurately pick merchandise from existing stock to fill customer’s orders
- Pack and seal boxes following standard procedures
- Use of a hand scanner to enter data in a computer system
Additional Responsibilities :
Additional tasks as assigned by management
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Must be able to Lift 50lbs independently and up 80lbs with assistance
- Extended periods of standing / walking (10+ hours / day)
- Attention to detail and ability to count
- Must be able to locate and identify specific items
- Must be able to use of a hand scanner to enter data in a computer system
- Must be able to manually pack and seal boxes following standard procedures
Required Schedule : Monday-Friday 8 AM 4 PM
