The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure adherence.
In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers in order to help them with their human resource needs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle of recruitment efforts
- Develop and oversee new hire orientation, onboarding efforts and employee termination process
- Assist with payroll and benefits administration
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and legal Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Senior Leadership and Business Managers to fully understand business objectives and needs. Contribute to the implementation and execution of HR strategies for the engineering function.
Build strong partnerships across HR teams and the business unit to drive effective collaboration. Work closely with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits) and Shared Services to ensure seamless people and business support.
Provide coaching, consulting, and guidance to leaders on the importance of strong "people" practices and their impact on business success, while remaining approachable and empathetic to employee concerns.
Offer timely and consistent advice to leaders on matters such as conflict resolution, performance management, and compliance with policies and legislation.
Support Business Leaders by aligning people and culture initiatives with business goals, offering expertise in employee engagement and change management efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
- 3+ years' of experience working in Human Resources
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
