Staff Accountant

Larson Capital Management, LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and reports, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and contributing to the overall financial health of our organization.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and adjust journal entries for routine transactions and closing processes.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and cash receipts.
• Record cash receipts and make bank deposits
• Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of financial transactions and supporting documentation.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure proper accounting for transactions.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions.
• Prepare and consolidate financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Provide financial analysis and reports to management as needed.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Yardi, NetSuite, QuickBooks preferred)
• Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Experience with general ledger functions and month-end / year-end close processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
