Staff Accountant

Job Description

You will handle primary financial statements, journal entries for the mortgage loan area, and reconciliations. Your responsibilities include processing data, system business functionality, accounting, analysis, and reconciliation for investment accounting systems and strategies related to various asset classes.

You will also work on special projects as needed. Specific duties include performing accounting functions and preparing month-end, quarter-end, and annual analysis, resolving issues, navigating large quantities of data, and gathering financial information.

Hard Skills

• Advanced Excel skills
• Competent knowledge in Statutory and GAAP accounting
• Experience with data analytics and related analytical tools (Tableau)
• Bachelors degree
