Position Details
This position will appeal to OTs seeking a diverse community-based practice serving clients across the rehabilitation continuum. Duties include :
- Conducting functional assessments & preparing reports
- Completing job site visits to develop rehab & GRTW plans
- Hospital discharge planning and assessments
- Home assessments to determine equipment & service needs
- Case management to facilitate client access to other health services
- Development and supervision of rehab assistant plans
- Liaising with funders, family and healthcare team
Qualifications
- Member of COTBC or eligible for registration
- Driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with insurance payers is an asset
- Experience with WorkSafeBC programs is desirable
