We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Global Program Manager to lead all aspects of a strategic account in our AMS (Asset Management Services) business.

The primary focus of this role is to develop program strategy and ensure the successful delivery of services, customer satisfaction, and achievement of revenue and goals.

Location Specific Information :

The ideal candidate must be based in New England, ideally Boston, MA. There will be frequent travel expected in the first year to our customer sites in Boston, MA and occasional travel to UK, Spain, Canada and Australia.

A Day in the Life :

1. Customer experience and satisfaction :

  • Establish a new asset management service program collaborating with commercial, implementation, supporting functions, shared services and customers.
  • Deliver on customer commitments, contractual agreements
  • Facilitate and lead discussions with stakeholders or service providers to deal with complaints, improvement / change activities for the assigned accounts.
  • Lead Quarterly Business Review (QBR) discussions with customers, serving as the main point of contact for reviewing program performance, identifying areas for improvement, and aligning strategies to drive customer satisfaction and value creation.
  • Actively listen to the Voice of Customers and translate feedback into actionable strategies and plans.

2. Account growth & profitability :

  • Deliver towards business revenue and margin goals.
  • Proactively seek and identify program expansion opportunities for ULS and other Thermo Fisher Scientific divisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and optimize processes that address customer needs and drive growth

3. Team leadership :

  • Hire, train and build a team at the start of the program.
  • Lead and develop a team that demonstrates operational excellence and customer focus. Coach and mentor for growth.

4. Operational excellence :

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and optimize processes that address customer needs and contribute to overall business improvement
  • Drive accountability within teams, support functions and service providers to deliver towards Key Performance Indicators.
  • Drive customer contract rollover and renewal processes ensure business retention and growth
  • Coordinate between sites for process consistency

Keys to Success : Education :

Education :

Bachelor’s degree required; Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred

Experience :

  • 5+ years working in AMS (Asset Management systems) business and life sciences instruments and tools or services business required
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed organization is preferred.

  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills in effectively leading and motivating a team.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish connections and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a can-do attitude and a focus on achieving desired outcomes

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $117, $175,

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and / or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
