PowerBI Support Job Description : Role Overview : As a PowerBI Support Specialist within our WLS (Workload Solutions) team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support for the Microsoft Power BI platform.

Your role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and effective utilization of Power BI to drive data-driven decision-making and analytics across our organization.

Key Responsibilities : 1.Technical Support : oProvide expert-level technical support for Power BI platform users, addressing inquiries, issues, and requests related to report development, data modeling, dashboard creation, and data visualization.

oTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues encountered during Power BI usage, including data connectivity, performance optimization, and security configurations.

2.Platform Administration : oAdminister and maintain the Power BI environment, including user management, access controls, data source configurations, and gateway management.

oMonitor platform usage and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal availability, reliability, and scalability.

3.Report and Dashboard Development : oAssist users in designing, building, and customizing Power BI reports and dashboards to meet specific business requirements and analytical needs.

oProvide guidance and best practices for data modeling, visualization design, and report authoring to optimize the effectiveness and usability of Power BI solutions.

4.Training and Documentation : oDevelop training materials, tutorials, and documentation to educate users on Power BI capabilities, features, and best practices.

oConduct training sessions and workshops to empower users with the knowledge and skills needed to leverage Power BI effectively for data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications and Skills : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or related field.

Extensive experience in Microsoft Power BI development and administration, with a deep understanding of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Premium features.

Strong proficiency in data modeling, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), M Query, and data visualization techniques.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in Power BI solutions.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with users, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
