Senior Compensation Consultant
Our client, a phenomenal management consulting and investment firm based in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking a Senior Compensation Consultant to oversee and manage the implementation and communication of compensation programs and policies.
This role offers a hybrid work environment (combining work-from-home and in-office days). The ideal candidate will have experience in compensation administration, Workday as well as be detail-oriented with strong Excel skills.

Role Overview :
- Support the year-end compensation process, including project management, stakeholder communication, and analytics.
- Lead and manage Workday Advanced Compensation activities during the year-end cycle.
- Participate in and analyze annual salary surveys, maintaining and using data to support compensation decisions.
- Design, develop, and test compensation-related tools in Workday, Xactly, and Excel.
- Perform daily compensation administration tasks, such as benchmarking, maintaining compensation bands, and conducting market analyses.
- Maintain and update the job description library and oversee the salary survey database, recommending improvements to job evaluation processes.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of salary programs, including structures, merit guidelines, and incentives.
- Support compensation-related projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Requirements :
- At least 5 years of experience in a compensation-focused analytical / quantitative consulting role, preferably in finance or professional services.
- Strong expertise in Workday Advanced Compensation and experience in successful year-end reward cycle management.
- Proven ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines (Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Finance, etc.) and present to senior leaders.
- Advanced Excel skills, with hands-on experience in configuring and maintaining systems like Workday and Tableau.
- Demonstrated proficiency in creating business-focused presentations for senior leaders using PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong time management, ability to manage competing priorities, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to present complex ideas to leaders unfamiliar with emerging HR practices.
- Highly self-motivated with exceptional analytical, problem-solving abilities, and keen attention to detail.
