Role Overview
As a Warehouse Facility Clerk based at the Port of Houston, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our warehouse.
This includes managing inventory records, facilitating the movement of goods, and ensuring the warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Preferred Experience operating small forklift; 5K to 10Ka
- Experience performing heavy labor tasks, including lifting over 50 - 100lbs, and moving heavy objects, handling physically demanding activities.
- Ability to use common hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, drills, wrenches, and hammers.
- Ability to use a hand-held device.
- Basic English communication skills (verbal / written).
- Must have organizational and time management skills.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to obtain internal forklift certification within 90 days of employment.
- Ability to accurately process alpha / numeric information.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and strong initiative.
- Ability to think logically, follow procedures, instructions and make sound decisions.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, vendors and fellow employees.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, extended hours, overnight, weekends, and / or holidays, as needed.
- Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC card within 60 days of employment.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is advantageous.
- Proficient in using warehouse management software and basic IT systems.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Capacity to lift heavy objects and operate various warehouse equipment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Working Environment
This role is based in a busy warehouse environment at the Port of Houston, often involving physical tasks. Flexibility in working hours, including potential shift work, is required to meet operational demands.
Compensation
The starting salary for this position is $16.00 per hour Plus OT
Schedule
Full-time position with variable shifts, including weekends and holidays as per operational requirements.
