Description
The Service Lead Technician is primarily responsible for establishing production goals, supervising, training, and evaluating service employees to ensure that work is performed in support of the company’s department goals.
This individual monitors physical requirements for work completion (facilities, tools, environmental) and communicates the same on an ongoing basis to his / her supervisor.
This individual is expected to model and reinforce company policies / practices to ensure that work is performed in alignment with the company’s mission, vision, and values and in collaboration with other Holt functions.
Must also perform duties of Service Supervisor during periods of his absence. Responsible for assessing engine teardowns to be able to compile accurate quotes that will be given to Shop Supervisor and PSSR.
The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis : 1) Demonstrated alignment with the company's mission and core business values;
2) Collaboration with key internal / external resources and 3) Ongoing self-development.

Direct, Support, and Evaluate service activities to ensure that established quality control standards and production goals are met;
customers receive legendary service, and employees receive effective values-based leadership.
- Through personal Modeling and appropriate Coaching, ensure that shop work and safety practices are performed in a manner consistent with organizational goals, mission, and core business values.
- Monitor and Control time records, service reports, and shop maintenance activities to ensure accurate record-keeping and availability of required resources for the service shop.
- Consistently Review all flat rate quotes to ensure a fair return on investment and provide a fair value to customers.

- It includes : Developing strategic plans and annual business plans, structuring self and other efforts to attain maximum productivity by establishing and monitoring deadlines, milestones, tasks, budget limits, and required resources;
forecasting, and visioning.
- Self Management Capabilities - This area focuses on the degree to which an individual appropriately modifies their natural behaviors and actions to most effectively fit the situation they are dealing with.
