Description

What are we looking for in a Data & Applications Manager?

As part of our Information Services team, the Data & Applications Manager is responsible for the organization’s data infrastructure and the functionality and utility of all software applications to ensure Comprehensive Healthcare employees can provide high-quality treatment services efficiently and effectively, while also supporting the organization’s reporting requirements.

This includes determining organizational requirements for software and data needs; designing and maintaining data systems and the integration of new data sources;

and analyzing, testing, and implementing software applications. The Data & Applications Manager supervises a team of eight employees, providing both face-to-face and remote supervision, direction, and coaching to maintain a high level of customer service and internal support.

This position requires basic knowledge of clinical practices, the ability to integrate user needs with software and data components, and superior communication and interpersonal skills.

The Data & Applications Manager works on-site in our Yakima office with a full-time, Monday Friday day shift schedule. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.

Data & Applications Manager duties may include :

  • supervising the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s software applications, data integrations to systems, data submissions, and related reporting
  • maintaining the organization’s billing systems to ensure electronic billing of the State, commercial, and other payors
  • developing technical, system, and operational standards and documentation for software applications and data systems and monitoring for health, optimization, and available resources
  • collaborating with vendors and community partners to ensure data and software requirements can be met for each project or partnership
  • serving as liaison to applications vendors which includes communicating requirements to internal & external developers and monitoring vendor contracts & invoicing
  • maintaining an effective team through supervision, training, and coaching of current staff; interviewing applicants and making hiring selections;

and onboarding and training new team members

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • Six years of related experience in the healthcare field
