The Production Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the production floor, and ensuring alignment with cost, quality, and delivery goals for all of manufacturing while working to fully implement CFS Technologies Continuous Improvement culture and business systems within the manufacturing environment and areas of responsibility.

Requirements :

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Review safety procedures and ensure safe working conditions to minimize employee risk of injury.
  • Review and approve the organizational structure, staffing, and training of personnel in area of responsibility.
  • Analyzes production requirements on a continuous basis to determine resources (both labor and equipment) necessary to meet or exceed the quality and delivery expectations of the customer while supporting and driving cost reduction initiatives.
  • Responsible for all production-related communication flow and coordination among resources to ensure cost, quality, and delivery objectives are met.
  • Establishes and maintains an environment conducive to continuous improvement manufacturing; recommends alternatives for improving production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions.
  • Act as a business partner by initiating and continuously managing improvements to manufacturing processes.
  • Engage workforce and drive change by empowering with fact-based decision-making, fostering innovation, and promoting continuous learning.
  • Communicate expectations and consistently hold self and employees accountable for performance.
  • Coaches and manages employee performance and behavioral issues.
  • Motivate and coach employees and teams to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, productivity, and quality.
  • Proactively implement, promote and maintain a safe working environment, through diligence in accident prevention, investigation, and promotion of a Zero Incident Safety culture
  • Ensure that employees have the necessary skills, knowledge, information, and tools to do their jobs safely and effectively.
  • Facilitate all aspects of the product line delivery channels in the facility.
  • Complete administrative tasks (timekeeping, attendance management) in an accurate and timely manner
  • Also ensure accurate inventory levels and keep the transaction accuracy within compliance with accounting principles.
  • Maintain a high level of morale through positive employee relations, and drive for a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Establish / monitor goals, provide performance feedback, establish development plans and provide coaching to direct reports.
  • Identify needs and develop our quality functions and quality systems related to manufacturing processes.
  • Develop or modify quality procedures, metrics, and processes to achieve quality and on time delivery goals.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Communicates with co-workers, management, internal and external customers, and others in a positive, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Assists in interviewing and selecting candidates to fill vacant positions in manufacturing.
  • Supervises, provides functional guidance, and directs assignments and responsibilities for direct reports.
  • Promotes effective employee relations by providing leadership coaching and development to manufacturing leaders and team leaders.
  • Participates in problem-solving meetings, resolves employee concerns, and makes employment-related decisions as needed.

Requirements :

High School degree and / or equivalent work experience.

Experience leading complex manufacturing and supply chain transformation projects.

Experience managing cross-functional teams.

Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships.

Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and an ERP system.
