The Java - Application Developer is a key member of our development team responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality Java-based applications.

This role requires a strong foundation in Core Java, a deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles, and hands-on experience with modern development frameworks and technologies.

The ideal candidate is a passionate and skilled developer who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java applications, following best practices and adhering to coding standards.

Leverage Core Java, Kafka, and Spring Boot to build scalable and efficient microservices.

Apply object-oriented programming principles and design patterns to create robust and maintainable code.

Collaborate with architects, designers, and other stakeholders to define and implement technical solutions.

Conduct unit testing and ensure code quality through automated testing practices.

Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements.

Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications and Skills

Strong proficiency in Core Java, including multithreading and concurrency concepts.

In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.

Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and other relevant frameworks.

Familiarity with microservices architecture and development methodologies.

Experience with relational databases and SQL.

Proficiency in building tools like Maven or Gradle.

Knowledge of automation tools like Jenkins or Bamboo.

Understanding of version control systems like Git or SVN.

Experience with unit testing frameworks like Mockito, PowerMock, and JUnit.

A plus : Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
