DescriptionAs an experienced Product Manager - Technical (PMT III), you will own the ideation, design, and development of next-generation, cross-cutting products and solutions for the Operations Technology Solutions (OTS) portfolio.

You will deeply understand the business impact of OTS infrastructure solutions and demonstrate strong technical judgment when making product and technology trade-offs.

You will influence the roadmaps of other OTS verticals, including Supply Chain, Infrastructure Engineering, and Field Delivery, by providing strategic perspective and context for current technology decisions, as well as guiding future technology choices.

Building excellent partnerships with customers, vendors, and peers, you will define holistic product requirements to deliver innovative and impactful solutions.

Your technical expertise, coupled with a keen business acumen, will enable you to lead the development of these mission-critical products that drive significant value for the organization.

Key job responsibilitiesProduct Management Expertise : As an experienced Product Manager - Technical, you will leverage your deep expertise in product management concepts and methodologies to drive strategic decision-making for the OTS product portfolio.

This includes conducting comprehensive data and market analysis, defining product vision and roadmaps, and prioritizing high-impact features to deliver exceptional customer value.

Technology Acumen : Your strong technical background and understanding of the core technologies utilized in the OTS domain will be crucial.

You will be fluent in analyzing technology alternatives, weighing the pros and cons of different approaches, and proposing innovative solutions to address complex product challenges.

Your ability to deconstruct technical problems and drive the right technology decisions will be instrumental in developing transformative OTS offerings.

Customer Advocacy : Identifying and deeply understanding user needs will be a core focus. Through rigorous user research, gathering Voice of Customer feedback, and close collaboration with product and engineering teams, you will define and deliver a seamless, unified user experience across OTS solutions.

Stakeholder Alignment and Collaboration : Communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders, from senior leaders to OTS customers, you will drive alignment on product visions, goals, and requirements.

Leveraging your strong cross-functional partnering skills, you will facilitate smooth, coordinated product development, ensuring the successful delivery of transformative OTS offerings.

Basic QualificationsBachelor's degreeExperience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on timeExperience in an operational environment developing, fast-prototyping, piloting and launching analytic productsExperience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a productExperience in technical product management, program management or engineeringExperience with concepts such as system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision makingTechnical Expertise : As an experienced Product Manager - Technical, you possess a deep, well-rounded technical expertise across a wide range of critical systems and technologies, including operating systems, databases, network infrastructure, virtualization, and cloud computing (AWS).

You are fluent in evaluating the capabilities and limitations of these technologies, and can adeptly select the most appropriate solutions to meet specific product requirements.

Data-Driven Strategic Thinking : Your strong analytical abilities and strategic mindset enable you to deeply analyze data, performance metrics, and business needs to make informed, data-driven decisions.

You leverage these insights to develop comprehensive network strategies and drive continuous, meaningful improvements to OTS products and solutionsPreferred QualificationsExperience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel and other toolsExperience in building and driving adoption of new toolsExperience with technologies like Hadoop, Rules based systems and Machine learningAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.

The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200 / year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
