Application Engineer- Medium Voltage Power Transformer
- Provide technical support for Noark sales, customer service and directly with end customers for the application of medium voltage (MV) power and distribution transformers.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing, Engineering and R&D functions to develop and launch
MV Transformer products into the North America market.
Main Job Responsibilities :
Provide MV Transformer and MV / LV power systems application support for customers and internal departments, including R&D, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Service / Technical Support.
Assist Product Marketing and Engineering to develop and implement product collateral, including data sheets, instruction manuals, catalogs and online product configuration tools.
Collaborate with the R&D team and assist in the development of new products by conducting market research and by applying existing knowledge of MV power systems and products.
Keep abreast of new and emerging technologies and materials in the MV Transformer products market.
Use computer software tools to design and analyze product integrity, features and performance.
Be responsible for problem analysis and solving of technical related issues with assigned products
Job Qualifications :
BSME or MSME or related field, MSEE is preferred
5+years experience with MV electrical apparatus, including Power Transformers, Distribution Transformers, Switchgear and / or MV Breakers.
Extensive knowledge of codes and standards in the USA, including NFPA 70, NFPA 70E and related UL and ANSI / IEEE product standards.
- Familiar with mechanical equipment manufacturing processes and metal processing techniques, able to independently solve design / manufacturing issues;
- Capable of clarifying technical issues during project execution, reviewing the correctness and integrity of technical specifications, agreements, and drawings, and identifying technical differences and pending issues;
Capable of preparing single-line diagrams, schematic diagrams and mechanical drawings to communicate product application and engineering details.
Familiar with MS office tools, Pro / E, Solidworks, Autodesk, CAD and other related tools
Good teamwork spirit, able to adapt to cross-cultural working environment and to take responsibility for delivering results
Agile thinking, with innovative spirit and consciousness
Good communication skill, fluent English both in written and oral
