The Senior Copywriter is responsible for developing and editing a wide range of primarily B2B copy, from brand campaigns, print and digital ads, collateral, web pages, and video that convey our services and their benefits to clients clearly.
This individual must have the ability to brainstorm effectively and collaborate with fellow creatives team members and clearly present ideas and concepts to stakeholders.
The Senior Copywriter brings B2B writing and editing expertise across varied mediums, including writing new content and copyediting the work of others.

Responsibilities :
- Conceptualize and write strategic, audience-first marketing copy across varied formats including web pages, digital and print ads, short videos, trade shows and events, and other pieces
- Interpret technical writing and concepts, and articulate them into succinct marketing sound bites aimed at C-level executives and decision-makers
- Interview and ghost write web pages or articles for subject matter experts within the firm
- Provide developmental, substantive, and copy editing for materials produced by subject matter experts throughout the firm
- Serve as a consultant to stakeholders on how to best execute written pieces, bringing an understanding of the firm’s overall strategic goals and partnering with design, production, and digital marketing colleagues
- Develop and evolve brand materials and promote brand consistency through writing style, tone, and voice, serving as a firm-wide resource
- Peer review the work of other writers to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs and that team initiatives support and elevate broader firm and department strategy
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; emphasis in English, journalism, communications, or other discipline with a heavy B2B writing focus preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of editing and copywriting experience in a complex organization required; experience in a professional services or B2B environment preferred
- Strong command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling as well as a diverse vocabulary
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
- Strong executive presence and demonstrated leadership skills, good judgment, and ability to effectively interface with employees and leaders at all levels within the firm
- Working familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style and AP Style, as well as knowledge of SEO principles
- Demonstrated success learning and understanding the business well enough to write credibly about it
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to producing accurate work in a timely manner
- Strong organizational skills; able to effectively prioritize assignments and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfortable working in Mac OS
- Ability to travel as needed, up to 10%
