Responsibilities
- Provides direction and oversight of property management company, including reviewing monthly financial reporting, maintenance request tracking, and application processing and lease-up.
- Plans and executes all community lease up and tenant education events.
- Supervises and coordinates the asset management of new construction units under warranty.
- Works closely with the Tenant Service Coordinator to address and resolve issues with delinquency and lease violations.
- Coordinates all file reviews and audits with the City of Columbus.
- Responsibles for any other ancillary duties or projects assigned by Healthy Homes’ Executive Director.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education Requirement :
High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of experience in property management. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Licensure Requirement :
Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy. Must pass motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.
Certifications :
Completion of Fair Housing Essentials program within 60 days of hire, required.
Skills :
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills necessary to relate to all levels of hospital staff, vendors, contractors, and the community at large.
- A strong commitment to serving low-to-moderate income households.
- Outstanding internal / external customer service skills, including handling difficult issues with sensitivity. Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times and to communicate effectively and appropriately with a variety of people from many cultures and diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills; experience prioritizing projects and working on several projects simultaneously with possible interruptions.
- Efficient and accurate in completing tasks that require attention to detail, and able to anticipate and meet deadlines while working under pressure of multiple and changing priorities.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
Experience :
Three years of experience in property management, or equivalent education, required.
