Job Description :

Hampstead Pre-Owned is searching for several certified and experienced automotive technicians to perform at least 4 Maryland State Inspections each day.

The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining used vehicles to ensure they meet our dealership’s quality standards.

This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering top-notch service.

The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of vehicle makes and models and a passion for automotive repair and maintenance.

The ideal candidate would also have their MSI license. Possessing an ASE certification in addition to the MSI license is preferred but not required.

Job Duties / Responsibilities :

Responsible for inspecting at least four vehicles a day

Work closely with other automotive technicians to complete tasks

Perform accurate and thorough diagnostic assessments of vehicles to identify issues

Execute high-quality repairs and maintenance tasks on various makes and models

Maintain records of all repairs, services, and inspections performed

Manage and keep track of the parts you use

Qualifications(Certifications, Skills) :

MSI license (required)

ASE Certification (Preferred)

Excellent problem-solving skills

Attention to detail

Possesses the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostic tools, and repair techniques

Able to read, write, and speak Spanish proficiently (preferred)

Experience :

We are searching exclusively for candidates who have previous experience working in an automotive shop. Your experience can be at a dealer affiliated auto shop or at an independent auto shop.

Compensation :

Hourly Rate : $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
