Job Details
MIS Technology Group is an MSP that provides support to schools, local government, and healthcare.
Not a work from home job This is a FIELD SUPPORT position
- Mid-Level Computer and network support position
- We believe someone with 3-5 years of experience would be a good fit.
- Provide ONSITE service to render assistance
- Provide resolution to all desktop / laptop support requests (Phone, Email, Onsite)
- Configure, troubleshoot, isolate, repair, and resolve all customer desktop issues including desktop / laptop hardware and software, mobile devices, printer / scanners / copiers, audio visual equipment, hardware peripherals and other desktop related equipment
- Provide Basic Active Directory administration (user related login, password, ID lookup)
- Troubleshoot and service basic networking components
- Upgrade existing customer hardware and software
- Pro-actively manage the case management system
- Implement solutions with proper documentation
- Ability to complete multiple simultaneous projects in a timely manner
- We have an escalation team that is designed to support field supports various needs
Requirements
- Knowledge of desktop / laptop hardware and common software
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Demonstrated patience and overall courteous behavior
- Demonstrated ability to work independently; must be self-motivated and goal oriented
- Ability to perform without direct supervision
- Track time associated to work orders and maintain case load
Optional Qualifications
Any certifications but ideally A+, Network+ and ready to start the material and training below.
What we want is to take someone who has good intermediate skills so we can train and grow this person into a Microsoft 365 Certified : Endpoint Administrator Associate.
