Job Description :

As a Senior Process Safety Engineer at SIS-TECH, you will play a pivotal role in assessing the risk of process incidents and identifying means to reduce their likelihood.

You will consult with customers to develop technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Client Engagement : Establish and nurture relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing technical solutions and deliverables.

2. Technical Expertise : Complete SIS design activities; perform SIL verification calculations; and develop validation, proof test procedures, and safety requirement specifications.

Perform functional safety assessments. F acilitate PHA and LOPA workshops at customer sites or remotely.

3. Proposal Development : Coordinate the preparation and presentation of accurate and detailed proposals based on client specifications.

4. Collaboration and Training : Work closely with the others on the engineering team to pursue continuous learning and technical knowledge improvement.

This will allow you to develop areas of expertise, deliver accurate information externally, and ensure strong client support.

Represent SIS-Tech through participation in industry technical conferences and committees. Conduct training sessions, develop public-facing webinars, and present technical papers to share our knowledge and experience with customers.

5. Self-Sufficiency : Demonstrate excellent time management skills and initiative to self-manage project work, client communication, and internal team collaboration.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, or related engineering discipline with at least 10 years of process industry experience.
• Experience in applying hazard identification and risk assessment to industrial processes is essential. Experience leading Process Hazard Analysis and Layer of Protection Analysis workshops is desirable.
• Knowledge of safety instrumented system design and quantitative analysis methods is desirable.
• Experience with the design, operation, and startup of instrumentation and control systems is preferred.
• Understanding of ANSI / ISA-61511 and OSHA PSM.
• Experience working in an industrial environment.
• Excellent technical writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to comprehend complex technical information and present it to others clearly and understandably.
• Results-oriented mindset with the ability to meet deadlines and budget targets.
