A well-established and reputable Commercial General Contractor has an immediate need for a proven Estimator to join their organization.
This is a great opportunity to work with a stable company that has been in business for over half a century providing General Contracting, Construction Management and Design / Build services for select clients.
My client has been a part of some major landmark projects across the Southwestern United States, as well as some local projects that have become a source of pride for their communities.
They specialize in ground-up construction and renovations in various market sectors. Projects are typically in the $5-50 million range.
This is not for a contract hire, but a long-term career as they have an extensive backlog of upcoming projects.
Estimator Duties :
- Responsible for bid day preparation
- Preconstruction communications
- Bid documents such as plans and specifications
- Maintaining job folder organization
- Conceptual budgets / project costs based on quantity surveys with senior staff
Estimator Qualifications :
- 4+ years of experience as an Estimator for a licensed Commercial General Contractor
- Candidates should have a four-year degree in Construction Management, Business Management, Architecture, Engineering OR up to four years of directly related field experience
