Position Summary
The Coordinator, Entertainment Technical Operatsions is a crucial liaison between multiple departments, this role facilitates seamless transitions, enhances operational efficiency, and contributes significantly to the overall success of Entertainment Technical Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Reporting : Deliver timely and comprehensive reports on the documentation status for both new hires and returning crew members, providing real-time insights into approval processes.
- Point of Contact : Serve as the primary contact for all inquiries related to documentation, schedules, and off-ship training for new hires and existing crew.
- Administrative Support : Collect and compile all necessary documentation for final clearance while actively participating in team meetings to share updates.
Ensure consistency between JD Edwards Enterprise One profiles and TMS assignments.
Technical Training Initiatives : Collaborate with Technical Operations Team leads on planning crew accommodations during technical training programs conducted onboard or at shore-based locations;
assist specialty vendors in developing training schedules; manage engagements with shipboard teams.
- SQM / SOP Task Oversight : Support the review of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure adherence to SQM guidelines.
- ECC requests : Lead planning efforts related to ECC requests, while collaborating across departments to identify efficiencies in scheduling.
- Meeting Scheduling : Organize and schedule regular meetings with all ships in fleet to streamline communications and improve operational efficiency.
- Documentation Audits : Conduct regular audits and updates of Entertainment Tech Ops forms and related documentation.
- Team Coordination Support : Assist scheduling & recruitment teams by facilitating recurring coordination work sessions and assist with communications.
- Specialty Training Logistics Owner : Arrange travel and documentation for Crew Members going to off ship training, collaborating with vendors on scheduleing and arrangements.

Qualifications and Education :
- Proven experience in HR, Talent Acquisition, or a related field, preferably within the maritime or entertainment industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing outstanding support to new hires and existing Crew Members.
- Proficiency in using multiple web based systems, particularly TMS and CTRAC, and familiarity with JD Edwards Enterprise One.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Commitment to ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process for all crew members.
Organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle complex issues efficiently.
