We have an outstanding Contract position for a Document Control Specialist to join a leading Company located in the Fort Worth, TX surrounding area.

The Document Control Specialist assists with retention and filing of documents as required for compliance with all corporate and US government document control and retention requirements.

Responsibilities : Inventories receiving and returning documents to verify all documents that coincide with the audit sheetCategorizes records and stores them in alphabetical or numerical sequence or a combination of bothTroubleshoots and analyzes processes and procedures used to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)Files and retrieves documents that allow for efficient storage and accessibility for a large number of recordsResponsible for preparing, scanning, and quality-checking documents / images being converted to electronic / digital formatDetermines appropriate scanner and scanner settings based on document type, planned processing, and document characteristicsResponds to requests for items by locating and retrieving files and delivering the documented transactionMaintains confidentiality and security of informationPerforms other duties as requestedBasic Hiring Criteria : High school diploma or equivalent Minimum one (1) year of experience working in a business environment requiredDesired Qualifications : Good organizational skillsBasic knowledge of office machinery such as copier and scannerKnowledge of in-house scanning system products, policies, and procedures is preferredGood communication and people skillsKnowledge of alphabetical and numerical filing systemsVEVRAA Federal Contractor / Request Priority Protected Veteran Referrals / Equal Opportunity Employer / Veterans / Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please visit : / / The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and / or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable : -The California Fair Chance Act-Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance-Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers-San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance
