Purpose of Position

The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll for salaried and hourly, crew and non-crew, union and non-union employees using the company designated payroll system.

The Payroll Coordinator's responsibilities include the accurate completion of regular payroll tasks, responding to employee inquiries, ensuring employee information is complete and accurate, and processing Leave of Absences, as applicable.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Process Payroll
  • Answer employee questions
  • Respond to requests from other internal departments, as applicable
  • Prepare responses based on inquiries from external parties for review and distribution by more senior members of the team or management
  • Participate in regular payroll tasks as a member of the Payroll Team

  • Proficient / Advanced Knowledge of Word and Excel, including use of formulas

  • Experience with SAP Employee Central - Payroll, BSI Tax Factory, and WorkForce Software preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine correspondence effectively, and to communicate with fellow employees with Service mindset
