Where You Will Work

Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing (CAM) is the primary division of Stanley Black & Decker Aerospace. We are a leading innovator and strategic partner in the manufacturing of fasteners, fittings, and engineered products for the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets.

CAM is currently comprised of nine subsidiaries across the United States split among three Segments.

The Job :

As a Human Resource Generalist, you’ll be part of our CAM team working as an onsite employee. You’ll get to :

  • Manage end to end hourly recruiting for two locations
  • Accurately maintain employee information utilizing WorkDay, including new hires, job and pay changes, supervisor changes, terminations, etc.
  • Administer payroll processing for the hourly workforce; Process special payroll requests for all employees (i.e. manual checks, rapid pay, etc.

in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Administer attendance policy for the hourly workforce. Monitor hourly employee attendance and create employee warning reports in accordance with the Attendance Policy in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Prepare reports and metrics for quarterly HR reviews.
  • Develop and publish monthly newsletter.
  • Coordinate / lead Employee Engagement events and activities.
  • Maintain employee communication boards, including display cases, and message boards.
  • Manage HR project work that supports business strategies on as needed basis.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred / Associate’s degree required
  • 1-2 years’ experience in Human Resources employee relations
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred
  • Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration, effective oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong conflict management skills
  • Highly skilled in MS Office Suite. (PowerPoint, Excel) required
  • Workday preferred
  • Results-driven, self-motivated with an emphasis on keeping customer and business commitments
  • Consistently demonstrates the highest level of personal ethical conduct and leads by example with strong values
  • Experience managing and maintaining confidentiality (including treatment of confidential documents)
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to manage and organize multiple priorities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to regularly travel between 2 locations that are 25 minutes apart
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving ability : synthesize findings from analysis and draw conclusions to provide solutions.

Identifies and works toward problem resolution.
